So I had my usual Friday breakfast with the gang, well the gang was only 2 of us this morning since one of them is now working nights(bummer) anyhoo. SO I leave and what do I find in the parking lot but a cellphone so back inside the restaurant and made the rounds asked everyone inside. The girl at the cash says check out the phone numbers on the phone so she dialed a few and no answer then I am checking them out and come across a familiar one. LMAO it was my friend who I just had breakfast with. So I caught up with him at his office and returned it. My lawyer now owes me one. LOL If it would have been a few minutes later it would have been too late because it is pouring rain and it was sort of in a puddle and it would have surely gotten run over too.

Oh, that's awesome that you found it right away!
My husband's cool cellphone find was last year in winter - he was at a house doing a service call, and he noticed a phone on the ground right outside his van. He didn't have time to go up to the houses around there, so just took it so it wouldn't get further buried in the snow. Brought it home later - and it was all in French. Now, we have a fairly large Francophone population here, so thought it was unusual, but no biggie - tried checking the numbers as you did - the vast majority were from Montreal, no local ones at all. So phoned one of them, explained the situation, I thought maybe he wasn't understanding because he hung up - then a few minutes later get a call back from him - he said the phone belonged to a reporter who worked for RadioCanada and he would get him to call it.
Turns out the dude was in the city here, then lost his phone before he headed back to Quebec. My husband returned it here to the local CBC affiliate, and got a coffee mug for his trouble!

Ah, maybe that's why we don't get the booklets here, because we can order the coupies.
Hm... they are sneaky!
Mind you I am surprized they are on for so cheap with so many coupons out! The all purpose spray makes a great clean-the-rug-after-hairball-barf cleaner.

I know - though they spend most of their time in the living room - the food is in the kitchen - they know there is lino there - so puke there, you little farts!
Oh, one day last week, Taffy hocks up one in the kitchen, then trots into the living room and does two more here on the carpet, and not on the same place.
Reminder to me that it's time to give her some Vaseline....
Ok, I said I was going.... and now that my mouth is throbbing, I MUST go!
TA til later!

Loocie gets to bake a cake for my distinguished #1 son,<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
For 25 years ago this Sunday I became a first time mom,
The passage of time become milestones, it is your very own history,
Events that have carved vivid recollection, to me there is no mystery,
How I remember his early arrival weighing in at under 4 pounds,
& how I barely slept a wink, listening for little baby sounds,
Hard to believe he’s a strapping man who now towers over me,
Can it really be when you measure the years, it’s a quarter century?
I feel very privileged to be his Mom, & I hope I’ve taught him well,
& but for the occasional moments of motherly grief, it really has been swell,
He’s an understanding young man & has inspired me many times,
& he’s even been the victim of many of his Mother’s rhymes,
So Happy Birthday to the man, who’s still my little guy,
25 wondrous years that I remember with a *sigh*

Don't worry about proscrastinating Patty........it's far better than those anti-crastinating people out there.
Just get your DH to do whatever it is that needs to be done. I know it will also make him very happy.
