Sometimes hot chili oil rubbed onto whatever you don't want it to chew will deter the critter. Of course, he may be like my Lily dog who decided that the baseboards taste really yummy with that hot stuff on em.

good point! one time we bought hot chili pepper to try spread around stuff to keep ants away and my dad picked it up thinking it was seasoning salt and he's liberal with seasoning salt... well his supper sure had a kick to it! anything spicy like that is nasty!Quote:
