Around here, the ape gets shaved monthly. He's not too bad though, I gave his buddy a haircut once and didn't know how far down his neck to shave...it was pretty bad :s

here is a photo of my room so far-the reason I have been missing in terms of the amount of posts that I post! first coat of first color which is the main color. the closet is finished now and I did a wall with the second coat in the mean time.


a couple people were asking for pictures so just thought I would post so far. the picture is a little dark. then I will do the dark red as an accent with stenciling and then there is the baseboards and trim and flooring and a window! That is just plastic right now. long story.

I hate renovations!! Married 8yrs and did the bathroom and almost finished the kitchen.DH and I are still together.If we live through the reno's we can withstand anything!!

Give my a DYI project anyday of the week. Just don't send me back to the 8X10 padded cell on wheels. I did that for almost 4 years (24X7 for 365 days ). Living in a Semi will take a total on a marriage.

Also just bought hubby a 7 channel RC remote for a 150 dollars with a reciever. Told this is a good deal.

Just came back from a massive haul at Zellers of all places. I usually never go there because of the hassle with coupons and boy it was no different tonight. She screwed up entering the first time around had to call a supervisor to delete the entire transaction and did it all over herself. I will wait in line indefinitely though for the savings I got tonight. LOL

I am actually enjoying painting my room. It also means I am closer to moving out of this leaking room that also got cracked when it was moved over. I am still in my old room-it was detached from the house and moved to the side that the new rooms and stuff could be built so that I and my sister still had a place to stay. It's quite chilly because of the cracks and drafts but it has been sort of fun but I am ready to be in the house again! lol Having to walk outside in pitch dark in the middle of the night just to go to the bathroom is getting a little bit not so fun! The novelty has worn off! LOL

I have been somewhat camping for the last few months-just counted and it has been almost 5 MONTHS in this detached thing! lol wow we have been going through renos for 5months-no wonder I am looking forward to having it back to normal! lol Never sure what to call it exactly. lol my sis and I have our own house that just contains 2 rooms and a hallway? lol
