my kitty is wanting food.... I should feed him... thanks everyone for the compliments of my kitty! he loves hearing compliments! he may also figure he deserves them. hehe. I love him soooo much! but he doesn't like the mushy stuff and turns away when I tell him I love him! LOL seriously-can cats understand english? I wonder sometimes.

oh speaking of my kitty-his bday is coming up! we celebrate it on November 14 because that is roughly the day we figured out he may have been born. He is going to be 2!!! and he still acts like a big baby! LOL but I love him!

I want to get him a new toy! LOL Trucks and mcminson know how many he has and they may think this is funny but he likes new toys AND he is signed up with Petsmart and I got a coupon to get a free toy worth up to $3 for his bday so I should get one right? too bad he prefers boxes and pieces of paper to real toys tho. lol he is currently chasing a little piece of paper around the floor and is jumping on it! LOL soooo funny! lol

Your kitty is a cutie

I had tons of toys for the cats in their stockings last year, they were not interested in them at all! Like yours, they enjoy boxes & laces. I did get special a box for my queen last Christmas. The cardboard in ruffled and has catnip in it. She loves it sooooooo much. Its pretty raggedy now, but she keeps a close eye on it. The king can't sit it at all. She goes bonkers when he walks by it.

You absolutely have to get your favorite feline a gift for his bday! I usually make a cake with a candle(although its not Andit's furry friend special) & take some pictures of the special day.

Cats are awesome I used to be a dog only person until my cat walked in my yard and bossed my 2 dogs at the time. She stole my heart

awww Blackpup thanks for sharing that! that is so sweet! your kitties sound sweet too! Yes I used to be a dog person and I had cats sort of outside in the barn but until Felix came along I wasn't really a cat person! he stole my heart more than any other cat ever has! I wonder what I should get him... probably something with catnip-he loooves his catnip toy!

I bought 2x0.99$ pillows filled with cat nip from pet value 2 yrs back and her highness still rubs up against them. She loves them so much. I have tried the ones from the dollar store, she was not satisfied. Call lame-o, but my queen is my bff. Its not that I don't like the king, he is inherited we don't share that same special bond.

I'm sure he will enjoy whatever you get him, but then again they can get pretty choosy.

Morning all. The sun is just barely starting to rise, so I suppose it is morning.

I have to go through the toybox this weekend - some of the toys are getting a bit, um, shredded, so I'll be getting rid of them. Don't worry, they'll still have a huge bin of toys (there are 3 bins right now - I swear their toys take up half the apt).

Blackpup & Dealsniffer, I too never thought I'd be a cat person. Tho I confess, I'm still a dog person at heart, mostly because the cat people I know in my bldg have very badly behaved cats (Quincy would get jailtime if he tried to scratch my furniture, not o well, that's what cats do).

Anyone know if it's possible to get fresh catnip this time of yr? I discovered this summer that Quincy will do anything for fresh catnip (he ignores the dried stuff). I asked at a couple of florists, but they say it's seasonal.

Happy Friday the 13th!!DD tells me she is not sick anymore.Let hope she is telling the truth.It has been a long week and DH has to work the weekend which sucks.He had to work the holiday as well.Not that nice when you are salary!! Sure hope they let him take some days off so he can take ME shopping!!! Momma needs a new coat.

Feel like crap. Woke up with a blinding headache. Feel like throwing up, (Which is very unusual) Popped a few Advils, seems to help. Bleh!

I think it's best to be practical and tickety boo as you can be,
Don't keep doom and gloom front & centre flashing on a marquis,
Always remember the ones you loves and who truly love you back,
and don't ignore your bills or you'll accumulate quite a stack,
I guess through all this banter, what I'm really saying
Friday the 13th is just a day that gets lots of overplaying,
So don your duds and off you go the weekend has arrived,
I hope it is a good one for all and you feel somewhat revived....
