Okay so I ventured into some dark scary neighbourhood today ( despite being told NOT to go there)...I shall never forget the experience..think I'd been living in a cave all these years
So now I am sitting with the door locked for the night under the safety of a blanket killing some dude in some game in the arcade.

Which neighbourhood was that. I used to live in one of the scariest area's in Vancouver for about 3 months. I was never really scared when I lived there but a few months later when I went back to visit someone I felt scared and like everyone there was watching me. I did my business and got the hell out of there.

There were a whole bunch of streets..took too many turns...hasting, keefer, gore.
That neighbourhood is super creepy..I can surely say I have never seen a area like that before and the people!wow! ..long story short..we ended up running out of there really really fast.

I lived just a few blocks from hastings and main. I lived at 33 west hastings street right above a cockroach infested restaurant. I used to help them out in the kitchen washing dishes sometimes and would see bugs crawling around the deep fryer and sometimes even falling in. After that I was so hungry i still asked for some fries.

ewww
I dont even have a response to that
double ewww
Does that place have a name? the general area?
It is scary yet intriguing at the same time as to what keeps people there..I would rather live on a uninhabited island and make my own fire.

This pic is pretty big so I just posted the link. This is the general area I just lived a couple buildings down from here, oh the memories.

I'll see if I can find more pic's of the area.
I added the below pic which was the exact place I lived. The chelsea inn right next to the funky winker beans. It looks like in this pic the restaurant downstairs is closed, and the red place to the right looks brand new so I guess some work is being done.

Thats the place for you to venture down to: http://www.clubvibes.com/listings/Va...-Bean-Pub.html

ooooo it looks pretty with the red, nice colour
but ummm it's next to Save On Meats ( "" the biggest full service butcher in the city. Unabashed by the tongues, legs, thighs, butts, rumps and roasts all over the place, it operates like a mecca of death for the meat eater"")
yeahhh...how convenient
maybe i'll go in the middle of the day when i can actually see where the hell i am.
I doubt its got a indie vibe though...looks like Hefner's basement.
Now I am going to vanish on you and go dream about..well not *her* hopefully
hehe

DS has his math exam today. I am not understanding the logic of them being off for 2 weeks at xmas then back on for a week and now they go in for a 2 hour exam and he only has one a day and none on Friday. You would think they would give exams before their brains have been mush for 2 weeks.
