Oooooo you know when I was driving up north today there were sugar shacks already open for business. Wooohooo. Can't believe I took the kids last spring break. That seems like just yesterday and already a year later. Our spring break is the week of the 1st.

Kevin and I were watching DIners, Drive-ins and Dives the other day and he wanted those pancakes with an egg dropped in the middle. He says how come you never make those? I said you said the same thing last time we watched this show and I made them and you didn't eat them. End of conversation.

Because I share a b-day with our first Prime Minister, Sir John A MacDonald, my friend sends me quotes & anecdotes about him every yr. 2 things to keep in mind, he was a Conservative & a drinker.


One day he was out campaigning, after overindulging the night before. Half through his speech, he got sick. He cleaned himself up & turned to the crowd & said, `See, even thinking about my Liberal opponent makes me throw up.`

Every person there voted for him.
