My son was out Saturday night with friends playing pool (not a scuzzy place at all) in a place that is well-known, good neighbourhood - and some #*&^@&!!!s came in and sprayed bear spray - so they had to evaculate, police came, etc. My son wasn't near where it happened - but wow, did I worry about him yesterday when he had a 'nap' in the afternoon (but he was just exhausted and was fine.).
But sickos.... sheesh!

I don't know... it wasn't on the news, or in the paper. Hopefully that means no one was seriously affected.

This also recently happened somewhere else, where an idiot release bear spray in a bar...but I can't remember, it might have been in the US.

There were incidents recently in Manitoba, six charged for spraying it while driving by people.
And in a city just north of where I am, Prince Albert, there were recent incidents, too - an attack on a cab driver, two home invasions, and others.
I'm sure there are incidents all over the country...

Take the ones you love give them a great big hug and tell them how much you care for them.You will not know if it is the last day you have the chance to.My MIL was 75 and never sick in her life.She never went to doctors and we always picked on her that we wouldn't know she was sick till she was dead.She played like a 10 year old in the yard with my DD's and was my shopping buddy,entertaining the kids as I dug for coupons.She laughed and shock her head at all my deals. I will miss her but not half as much as Lily.When we told her Nan died she asked if God could make her a new Nan.We said no and she asked if was because God ran out of arms.Her last words to DH were "Thanks for the memories." So true.What a day full of tears and memories.

What was the name of that spring cleaning thread??? Anyhoo tonight we did the freezer. Took eveything out. cleared out the drainage which was blocked and threw out some old meat, not too much so I am happy.
