I'm so sad.Not looking forward to this week.I hate funerals and wakes and try to avoid them whenever I can but I must go this time.41 is far to young to die and no one should die at Christmas.

I'm back! 4 days without internet was almost too much to bear. Good thing the brats & I were spoiled rotten, & I had my parents' present (a Wii) to play with.

Hope everyone enjoyed themselves the last few days! I was the spoil sport that actually LOVED having a green Xmas, with no snow.

Well, it's not MY wii. Although, knowing my parents, it may well become mine in 6 months or so if they get frustrated (it took them a while to learn how to turn it on & use the controller).
I'm hooked on the tennis game, although I really really liked knocking the daylights out of my boxing opponent. My parents have only been able to master bowling, thus far. I told them that once they mastered each game, I would buy them a new game. My Dad thinks I'll have about 3 yrs to save up for it.
Can you give me any tips on how to hit the
baseball. I have yet to be able to do more than strike out.
Hmmm, maybe the wii is a reflection of my love life.

You're younger than me, if you play super nintendo.

I still mourn the loss of my first computer, Adam by Colecovision (this is pre Commodore 64). It had a cute game with the characters from the comic BC, where you had to keep the caveman on his unicycle from falling on his face while he rescued the girl from the dinosaur. Needless to say, I never made it as far as the dinosaur.

I was never hip enough to play super nintendo. I never even really played Pacman (or Ms Pacman).
The Wii is a whole other world for me. Even if I can't hit the
baseball.

DH thought his vacation was over and got up and went to work only to find an empty parking lot. Today is the day off they have for boxing day.
