Heya everybody...I am hoping someone out there can help me.
I'm trying to find out the name of the plant in the following pictures. It's a plant I bought, of all places, Zellers in the spring in a hanging basket. I ended up transplanting it because it was just growing so fast. Well my neighbour loves it too and wants to get one and I can't remember the name. It's a beautiful plant, each flower head is made up of dozen of tiny flowers and they change in colour from yellow to orange to pink. There are many dozens of pods on the plant that are either a shiny green, or blue/black/silvery.
I recall the name has the words 'varigated flowering' something or other.
If anyone can help, I'd be so thankful. This thread is currently associated with: Spring Shoes, ZellersJoin Swagbucks: http://www.swagbucks.com/refer/jojoskelowna

Hmmmm can't seem to find it in the gazillions of pictures of flowring schrubs online but you can take a cutting and make a slit in the bottom and dip it in root starter put it in water. When the roots start you can plant it in a pot and give it to your neighbor.

It's a plant. What the heck do you need to call it anything else for?

Hehehe - def not a botanist, BUT I have one in a pot right outside! Just a sec, let me lift my arse off the chair and walk outside and --- it's called Lantana. Mine is in a hanging basket and has sunset colours. When I got it it was full of blooms, and has rarely bloomed since then, a real disappointment, actually. The leaves are so odd feeling....
However, yours is absolutely gorgeous! I see by googling, that there are annuals and perennials - many different varieties.

very beautiful plant! if anything you can also collect the seeds and plant them and see if they grow? That would give you lots more!

You're welcome - it was cool to recognize it right away, although I have such a smaller, annual variety. I will definitely look for a variety more similar to yours for next year - to have it become bushy and have more flowers. Plus I like the pinks more than the orangey/rusty colours I have.
