O.k. a cupcake "cake" for kids. That has to be the most practical, amazing, hit myself on the head with a hammer that I never thought of it, idea. Doh!

Oh my goodness that looks so good. boo hoo I want a pirate cake just so I can eat it lol. Wonderful job. Is this your everyday paying job??
Once Patty Smyth is done with that hammer I'll use it as well to hit myself lol. What a wonderful Idea. I hate getting a knife around that many sugar jumping hopped up kids lmfao.Last edited by batman1978_; Fri, Jun 5th, 2009 at 08:21 AM. Reason: added

I realize now when i go back to check the entry in the forum the pics are HUGE!!
It really did not take long. The longest part i would say was to let the cupcakes and cake cool down enough for me to put first coat of icing on them. After that it was nothing but fun all night long decorating and watching it all come together nicely.
The kids did eat it up pretty fast and were able to bring a piece of cake each back to school the next day with them.
I really can't wait for the next cake i will make, i will try to use fondant icing next time for my nieces cake. But i must wait a whole month and a half until her birthday.
Until then i have soo many ideas in my head i really don't know which one to chose!!
