Oh yes, everyone is fine and dandy, the oldest lost 2 teeth over the weekend, she was awfully excited about that. They are both loving school and doing really well. J is still working at the same place, and me too. Where I am has really slowed down, but between being winter, and so many folks unemployed in the area, we can't expect much more. I am like you, could hide inside lal winter, but we have had the girls out a ffew times tobaggoning, and the oldest loves it, the little one, still unsure about it.

so far so good - not much happening; it seams I tend to hibernate in the winter - more house bound, but still try to get out once & awhile; on the positive, being indoors, I'm able to get back to renovating the house. In the nice weather, spend almost every min. outside. Can't wait 4 it to return.
Anyhow, anything new out ur way? How is everyone? I think J & the girls were sick in Dec. - is everyone ok now? & you - everything alright ?

Ya, it's not nice here either. Yesterday the buses were cancelled, but today it's more of a be very careful walking day. How's 2011 treating you?

I've never been there, but it looks like a lot of fun. I enjoyed the falls, but boy, was it ever cold - just froze after a few hours, but it was nice 2 get away. Have a great evening. ttyl

YOu have a safe trip and have fun in the falls. Would love a getaway with J there, but think we are doing the family weekend at Great Wolf Lodge in late April early May, the girls will love it. Talk later and have fun, Moe.

g.m. Moe - we only got about 6" - plenty as far as I'm concerned; I just finished shoveling. That's so nice of J. to do that. I'm doing well - going to Niagara Falls 4 the afternoon & evening - want to c the festival of lights. Wanted 2 do it before Christmas, but just couldn't find the time. I really hope the roads have been cleared - leaving in a few minutes. I assume the girls r just loving being outside playing in all that snow. Say hi 2 everyone 4 me. Have a great w/end. ttys

Hi there Hicks, thanks for the rep. Was just outside digging our way a path. Man did we get alot of snow since last night in the evening, almost a foot. J's gone now to give a few older floks a hand and dig our friend out, guess he got hurt at work last night, so checking in on him. Hope all is well and you didn't get all this snow. Talk later, MOe.

I think we r alike in many ways. Well, all gifts bought - will wrap over the w/end. Figured out the meal, picked up all the booze, pops, juices & snacks. Have the turkey, but still have to pick up a ham, all the veggies & everything for my baking. Under control, for now. All the baking the day or 2 before will be hectic & cooking / last min. meal prep are really the only things hanging over my head. But ur right, it will have to be buffet & everyone will have a great time. Family & friends - that's what Christmas is all about. Really looking forward to it. Even though I'm not looking forward to all the work, I'm grateful that I have such wonderful people in my life.

Oh we are so much alike, that's what happens to me each time. You'll do fine, just get the stuff ready that you can ahead of time, and dish it out buffet style and everyone will enjoy. Are you sure you are up to having 23 though? That is alot, but I'm sure you will do fine, maybe even ask if some folks would like to bring there fave dish.

Well originally it was going 2 b my son & daughter-in-law for dinner - quiet day. Well not anymore !!!! Because I was in no condition to do dinners the last few years, my son did them, but he wanted me to do it this year since it was the 1st in my new house. Well, I put out a few invites for dinner - 3 just seemed so small, wanted another 2 - 4. Hah, what a mistake, almost everyone accepted, & now I'm up to 23 for dinner. I feel sick. I think people will be sitting on each others laps. So much for a nice sit down dinner. Help - oh well, the more the merrier. Much better than being alone !!

Light snow here too, well I'm not doing the huge breakfast and dinner like usual, but am doing breakfast for whomever decides to come over and we are going to the bil's for dinner, then back to our place where a few friends will be coming over for games and beverages. What about you?

Hi Moe; yea REALLY cold !!! day's ok, just recuperating from food poisoning. Started late Sat eve & still feeling weak & shaky. Oh well, @ least getting better. Was planning on going shopping today, but just not up to it. Maybe tomorrow. Hope u have a great day
