That`s a nice name, I knew a Ceilidh (she was a Collie). I did the same thing with Lily, her previous name was Sheba, but she ignored it. My brats are whining about the cold. Quincy refuses to go near the window, & Lily insists our walks be no longer than 3 minutes (not that I`m complaining). Glad you had fun skiing. Maybe you can keep the snow that's due to hit me on the weekend?
she has way more brain cells than I .....we changed her name due to her past, upon the recommendation of the trainers...drum roll...tah dah her new name is Ceilidh (pronounced Kaylee)...she knows it and loves it already..though I suspect it has a lot to do with the tone and the heart Lol her trainer said tonight when walking with her "she's her mom's dog"...hope that's a good thing. I will have to ask the trainer next week,,,how are your critters fairing in this cold weather? take care talk with you soon

It's been a wonderful day - I had coffee earlier with an SCer (she volunteers for a rescue & I gave them some doggy earrings for their auction to raise money). Poor Lily dog is still unhappy about everything being wet (the prima donna hates getting her feet wet). How is your companion? Has she taken over the household chores yet (she *is* an Aussie, afterall).

Thanks Andit for the skijoring info..will definitely look into it. We had to change aussie girls training classes...turns out there was a male there not fixed, so we restart classes Nov 18th. I went to the first class alone as she's in heat..and worked on everything we were taught..she's a quick study...but when it became apparent she would be missing 3 weeks ect, we changed our session to later in Nov. Can't wait to get her into agility as well...watching her leap, bound and run is truly a thing of beauty..it would be a disservice to her not to give her the joy of her passions...so the skijoring looks awsome too., a perfect fir for our winter lifestyle.....and when we come in from our outdoor gallavanting she's cozy cozy and just wants to be loved..... thanks again Andit for your thoughtfulness..........

Ooh, sounds like a nice way to spend a lovely day! I went out to dinner with a friend in from out of town (only here for the day to go to a specialist), was nice to see him. How is the little girl doing? Has she stolen your heart yet?
Had our first training class tonight...yikes its alot to retain....hopefully Aussie Girl can attend next week....wish they had handed hand outs to us..low retention span here..how was your day today? Went to the beaches for a lovely stroll on the boardwalk and then out to lunch with a friend who's visiting from out west
Hello Andi Aussie girl is settling in..still skiddish, but is getting braver with new noises at times and staying with me...she loves Find Me we play it tons in the backyard, as she has gone into heat and I was told not to take her off my property...have taught her to shake a paw she loves being brushed so we have special brushing and cuddle times... How are the critters...getting all ready for Halloween? We were to go to a massive party but it would be a 9pm til 3am kinda dooooooo..way too long to be away from Aussie..so am stoked to stay home....getting another pumpkin tomorrow to carve .... We start obedience school tomorrow night.. Aussie isnt going to the first one as she is housebound...will keep you posted..thanks again for all your help and for listening....

Actually, I should be thanking you! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving! Today is turkey for me at my friend's, tomorrow cabbage rolls with my parents (unless the brats eat them all while I'm out).
