Darn. Good luck on the job hunt, here's hoping something comes up soon that's perfect. The cruise is unexpected - a good friend of mine is taking me cause it's actually cheaper to take me along than pay the single supplement. I just got home a little while ago - we were out discussing our itinerary over dinner. I'm already afraid of the diet I'll have to go on when I get back (at least the dog & cat will suffer with me - my parents are watching them & will overfeed them no doubt). 3.5 days til hot weather - can't wait!
OMG--can I go with you?? Things are going ok --hoping to find another job shortly as the job I currently have is coming to an end next year. I travel around 50 miles per day so I would love to find something closer to finish out what few years I have left to work. I hope you have a wonderful time on your cruise.
Hey stranger! How are you??? When the changeover happened, I wasn't able to log into my account (life's been too crazy around here for me to really do much about it). On the plus side, I'm off on a cruise - leave early Sunday morning to explore the Caribbean. I'm looking forward to hot temperatures and sunshine. And all the food (I'm already dreading the dieting I'll have to do when I get back ). Hope all is well with you.

Hi Jettred, I'm well. Had a busy morning (bloodwork - only 2 pokes, either they're getting better or my veins are starting to behave ). Baking some cookies now for some SCers (we're meeting downtown this aft). Are you feeling better these days? Hope all is well.
Send your hubby up here, condos are being built left, right & centre in Toronto. Houses too, but not quite as much. It's a bit nippy here, but mild for Jan, the cold & snow is all around us tho. Glad the job is going well. Tell your DH his new job is taking care of the home, that's a hard enough job. Good to hear you're back on your feet (literally). Take care of yourself.
Hi, Things are going much better, walking on 2 feet now, love my job, already got a raise!! If we could just get my hubby back to work, unfortunately he is in construction & those jobs are few and far between here. We did get a little snow yesterday & really cold weather. Temp has been in the teens here the last few days & we are expecting single digits (F) here over the weekend. I guess that is mild compared to what you guys are having. Take care.
Thanks, the black mixed Lab is Jett, our 12 yr old. The other 2 dogs are neighborhood dogs that come to visit everyday. The red daschund is Larry & the other dog is Ellie Mae. Larry comes in the house as soon as you open the door & heads straight to the laundry room where the treats are & will not leave until he gets one while Ellie waits patiently at the back door. They are so funny together.
Thanks for the compliments on the brats. They are good company, even if they occasionally misbehave. It took some work, but I finally convinced them that if they pose happily for pictures, they'll get their fav treats. Love the pix of your pets, by the way. What are their names?
