Well, that's cause it's so tempting to nap with them. Lily dog makes for a very comfy pillow. & I seem to be a very comfy bed, according to Quincy cat (he's so cute, he puts his head on my shoulder & half hugs me). When Q starts purring, it's so soothing, it puts me to sleep.

Growing up, we never did Thanksgiving (my folks are eastern European), but my friend loves it, so I`m going over. I`m taking my Mom`s baking, since no one trusts my cooking (I joke that my forte is cooking for dogs ). Last time I went over to my friend`s place, the resident pet snoozed on my foot, so I couldn`t move (at least that was my excuse for not getting up & helping with the dishes ).

I`m so thankful that everyone`s been so thoughtful sending me prayers & good wishes for my friend. Now, she just has to hurry up & get better, cause I think her cats are ready to kill me for not letting their human come home.

Yuck, needles in feet are not fun (I had to have an IV in my foot once, cause all the veins in my arms were kaput, blech). When I was on dialysis, I had lots of swelling & what helped me was soaking my feet in lukewarm water.

As for the cold, eeek! I have sunlight pouring in through my window (I face south) - earlier the critters & I were fighting over the patch of sunlight on the carpet. We all ended up on the floor together, the dog beside me, the cat on top of me, all soaking up some rays.

Thanks Andi, With all else that is going on.. I got to get needles in my feet to take out some fluid to see if I have Gout... Yucky, Don't mind needles but never have I ever had one in the foot..
