Over 75% of the ads I come across have sold but the seller is too lazy to take down the ad especially if it's only the one item.

two days ago, get the wordy 'still available?'.......um, well, ad says if ad is up, item is available.....apologies if this was somehow murky to you....so replied 'yes, let me know when you're free...

I'm getting so sick of sellers not replying or answering their phones. I'm trying to find a place to move. An ad was put up for a newer building, decent rent and looked amazing. Called three...

I've given up relying on email as the sole communication when I buy/sell something on Kijiji. I now always ask for a phone number and call them. If they don't bother showing up at the agreed...

Lot of times, police they don't care. They just say its a civil dispute and not a criminal matter. Its for the civil courts and a private sale. Unless an actual crime is committed they won't get...

I would have called the police. A sale is a sale with no warranty. Hopefully your friend got the car back but who knows what they did to the car for a month. I have never had any problems selling...

I'd tend to agree. I havent had any issues when I go to meet someone I met on kijiji. Granted, I dont arrange to meet folks down a dark alley behind a dumpster, either. I also don't invite...

The exact same thing happened to me. I was selling something in a facebook group that way too many people commented on saying that they could buy it at the store for less. And that they had it...

I share a lot of the sentiments shared in this thread but yesterday something happened that never happened to me before. Someone paid more than asking price for an item. I had an item listed for $45...

Ugh I had one guy once that wouldn't take no for an answer. Said I wasn't able to meet with him for like a week because I was very busy that week. Kept messaging constantly for days and days asking...

Pfft that exact item that people were saying on Facebook was "too expensive" and that I was basically scamming people with that price? Well I sold it on ebay for that price, (cheaper than most of the...

I posted something for sale on a Facebook group because of people here who said they had more success than Kijiji. I am never ever posting something for sale on Facebook ever again because of the...

Ther is another side. Sellers who never take down the ads after they are sold sometimes for months. Also sellers that never respond to an inquiry if the object is still for sale .

It's so hard to gauge whether responses are real or from timewasting trolls. When someone asks "where are you located" as their first message it makes me suspicious. When a different guy messages...

I had a free item on kijiji I didn't want to just throw it in the garbage as it was new but I had no use for it. Two weeks of stupid replies - is it still avail, I really want it but you won't hear...
