Aw, thank you, Sweetie...hope you had a lovely Mother's Day...my Grandson called in the morning and wished me a Happy Mother's Day..it was so cute! We saw them all later in the day, sipping wine under the gazebo, I'd prepared a chacouterie platter, and spent a lovely afternoon with our DD, her DH and our sweet Grandson who will be 6 next month!!! WHERE does the time go?

Oh, she must have been in pain, poor wee critter; I'm happy to hear her condition is improving. It breaks my heart to hear of any animal in pain...they just don't understand what's wrong...oh, I'm just a sucker for critters!
Yesterday we were at 'the kids' home, dropping our grandson off, and our DD just loves the show...oh, I forget his name...a vet who of course treats a wide variety of animals in his practice. Anyway, yesterday he was on an Amish farm treating a cow which he diagnosed with a twisted intestine...and he was dubious as to whether he could help her; so there I am, all teary-eyed, getting all soppy about this cow I don't even have a personal relationship with, and our DD and my hubby said...'you don't know..it might be fine!'...of course they had to change the channel because I was so sad...they, of course, think I'm bonkers...lol...Yep, a real soft touch when it comes to critters....

She has a compressed nerve and couldn't walk for over a week. She is on steroids and showing a lot of improvement.
