Oui, je parle français. And I only managed 4 weeks off (and the trip to start with) because the 1st week was work related (conference). I already know your next question, and I'm afraid the answer won't make me too popular around here.
WOW! 4 weeks! How did you guys get so much time off work? It sounds like an amazing adventure! I hope to travel more... in the next few years. Have family in Cambodia, and in London England! I read your post about your cats! My two are getting up there. One will be 17 in September and have had her since she was born, the other we adopted when he was 10. I love animals. I can' bear to hear or view or read anything about them being harmed. I am a suck when it comes to them. that's my story and I am sticking to it! will see you later!
We were there 4 weeks, starting in Cape Town and working our way north along the Indian Ocean, to end in Kruger Park. Trip was absolutely fantastic. I was still a lurker back then, and managed to keep entering some points in.
That must have been an amazing trip. I have friends from South Africa, and I have heard many stories about the land and the people...It changes depending on where you go in the country... I suppose that is the same here at home too, only not as extreme! May I ask how long you were there? Thank you for answering my question from yesterday and for the rep today!
