Thank you, Dee....I wish that were possible. We want to do more travelling (and already have 4 trips this summer planned), so another pet wouldn't be conducive to that however much I wish it could be. I told my DH that I'd only get another one, one day, if our Tammy would somehow bring her to me. He asked how in the world could that happen, and I said that I'd know it...I'd just know.
Just another confirmation for him that all my oars aren't in the water, but he's quite accustomed to that...;-)

Thanks for the rep. Yeah, she was a funny cat, more memories are starting to come back to me now. Like how I had to stop lighting candles because she would be so fascinated and get too close and singe her wiskers.
No, my next pet will be a dog, love all animals but like you I'm a dog lover. It was a time when I could only have a cat and I had a mouse problem too. They definitely stayed away when she moved in lol. And glad she never caught any...bleah

Once in awhile I yearn for a puppy, but I can't have one right now -crazy work hours, etc. Then I think well maybe if I get 2 they can keep each other company. But then I have to realize that if I can't take care of them properly or they way I want to, I couldn't bear the thought of having to give them away. I've never had to do that and don't ever want to be put in that situation. Actually in a couple of years *sigh* when hopefully my situation improves, I plan to get a couple of rescues though.

Hi, Dee! Thank you for those cherry blossoms...Spring just CAN'T be that far away, right?! We have no snow on our streets and sidewalks and all the mall parking lots are totally clear of that horrid white crap! I hope it stays that way...even the snow is off my pansy border outside and it looks green for heaven's sake!

Hello, Dee...thank you for thinking of me...I'm afraid I'm not being very brave or noble about losing Tammy....I still cry every day...what a mush-ball...and how patient is my hubby! The man's a saint...picking up the slack around here...but each day seems a bit better...at this rate I should be fine in about 2012. ;-/
