That's too funny, I was the same as your mom. It's kinda hard rooting against a player on the team you're rooting for, but I managed too lol.

Oh I know,afterawhile I just couldn't bring myself to read the stories about him! Everyone I know haates him! During the Olympics my mom was "anyone but Heatley score, Anyone!"

Yea, my roommate who I watched this with, her mother passed away unexpectadly last dec. and she was just amazed at well put together Joannie was, she didn't say it, but i could see on her face that she would not have been able to pull through like that, so it was just touching, to be able to see Joannie do her best.
