Awwww.....poor Quincy. . .he'll come around and hopefully give Roo a little butt kicking. ha ha Cats get so upset with change, don't they? Except Chloe. . .we sometimes wonder if she's a dog hiding in a cat costume. . Roo obviously makes up for his bratiness in his class clown showmanship! lol
We do, but he will hunt out his favourites (seriously, I hid his Angry Birds chirpy bird on a string toy in my underwear drawer when he wasn't looking and he worked all day on opening it, squealed in delight when he finally got it and dragged it out and dropped it on my lap). He also has a couple of catnip mice he carries everywhere like a security blanket, they are on my pillow with him at night, so they stay out, but the rest rotate. Quincy has been a little quieter since we lost Bumper so not playing with him as much, I think that is a big part. But yeah, they have way too many toys, he jokes that we live in a cat house and not the other way around, they have cat condos in the living room and office, beds in every room, a toy chest most kids would love - way too spoiled. Autumn, despite being a mean little *!&%*, cries when he chases her instead of giving him a good smack so he enjoys torturing her - Chloe taught him something!
I'm GLAD I'm not he ONLY one to give my pets that many toys! lol My puppy has the scattered e v e r y w h e r e. DH always complaining he's gonna break his neck. .heh heh Since my kitties terrorize the rodents of my acreage, they don't have toys. If they DO get bored, they find it amusing passing their time torturing the dog til it's time to go out again. My little 6 lb Chloe will actually chase Eddie around the house hissing and pretending she's a cougar or something. Hilarious. . . Have you tried rotating his toys? That seems to help alot of pets.
we went to the petstore today for customer appreciation (benefits the local rescue group) and bought him a pile of new toys and he has finally tired himself out and behaved much better, I guess he was just bored yesterday. His 1000s of toys were not enough
Maybe he's mad at all the goopy baths Nika gave him!! Lol
Oh he has decided he doesnt like dogs, even when he was tiny, I took him to the cottage and he hissed with all his might at the dogs, they have cats too (who he loved) but the dogs were heartbroken at being hissed at, the younger one sat on the floor with his paws over his eyes whimpering because the mean little kitten hissed at him. He also meows and spits at the dog next door when she is out in the backyard. He sits in the window and goes all stiff and you just know they let her out. It surprised me given the pics you sent with the dogs because the time at the cottage wasnt that long after I picked him up
hahahahaha!! Now THAT'S the cat I expected him to be!!! Sounds hilarious!! My youngest dog Eddie would give him a run for his money. He can't figure out why the cats won't play with him. . .but not being the brightest bulb in the shed. . .he never stops trying. .bless his pointed little head. lol
Haha after a night of him chirping at shadows, biting his own tail then crying because it hurts (which btw I find hilarious because he never learns his lesson doing it), chasing your cats, jumping at the wall and scratching it and knocking over everything he can find, your husband may change his mind. We have a large crate that Q likes to sleep in, so I threw him in there for an hour to give the others some peace and let him chill out, he has been much better since. Now he is just scooping water out of the drinking fountain in the kitchen and sliding around
Ha ha! I wish you WOULD send him back for awhile. My husband thinks I gave up the Most Perfect Angelic Cat. . . I already have a house full of spoiled Brats. . .but what's one more?. .
Thx. FP. I just don't want anyone to think I don't respect everyone's opinion. . . .I mean if you said the moon was made of cheese, then maybe. . . . I'd dis you a little. . . lol
I will, I threatened to send him back to you several times today - he is going through a really naughty phase
Thanks for Likes kiddo! Give Roo a kiss for me.
Thanks Distinctive is a good way to describe Q lol, I adore him but he is a pain in the butt I actually tried to change Autumn's name (the shelter named her that) but nothing stuck since I had known her at the shelter for so long as Autumn
Awwwww. Quincy has a very distinctive face, doesn't he? I have a feeling Reggie will look very much like Autumn (beautiful name, btw) I'm just going to post an update on the original thread, so you can see his latest pic.
Apartment, we just moved here last month and agreed to wait and see how they were reacting to each other in the new space before adding another cat. Quincy is 3 in Feb and a playful brat lol : http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2777/...d493670d07.jpg and Autumn was a semi-feral at a shelter I volunteered at who was 'running out of options' despite being a no kill so I fostered her and decided to keep her, she is a little princess now: http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2348/...707ef83910.jpg
Are you ina house. . apartment?? I'd love to see pics of your babies.
I am, I will have to talk to my BF about it, its an idea we have been throwing around for a while but not ever had a concrete agreement on, but Quincy needs a little buddy, our female likes a quiet life and just doesnt want to play with him.
Hi Fallen Pixels, I live in Barrie area. Are you in Hamilton area? My best friend lives in Dundas. . .so it wouldn't be a problem to bring my little munchkin down. Wow! He is growing fast and is a Pig!
