  1. I work as an untrained English teacher, sometimes I feel like a monkey. I do not speak their language, but most Koreans in my area speak enough English I can get by, I should learn some Korean though.

    I do have a blog, penniesandnarwhals.wordpress.com
  2. Not to be nosey, but what kind of jobs can a Canadian get out there, is it a multilingual area, or do you speak their language?

    That's so neat!

    You should blog this
  3. Haha it's awesome here, I go on weekend trips all the time, I'm no longer poor. I really like it out here, hoping to make plans to go abroad (possibly Cambodia) over New Years.
  4. Wow, thats a huge jump eh? How is it over there?
  5. I've been here since the end of August, arrived on August. 31. No jobs in Ottawa!
  6. The one at the gloucester center does. (can't remember the name) We actually got Sparky there, but thank god he came from a breeder that sold him to the store, so he's 100% pure Pom.

    Goodnight !
    Dream of Broadway lol
  7. Ah just rewarding with lots of love generally works! My cat hates getting her nails done but loves the kisses on her head afterwards

PetSmart doesn't sell puppy mill pets, but they're a very greedy company that focuses on bottom line over customer satisfaction, a friend of mine worked for Super Pet to Pet Smart during their merger and found Pet Smart to be awful! Anyways, I must sleep, have a good one!
  8. Oh no !

Somehow he lets the groomer do it, bless her. LOL

I like pet valu for the reason they don't sell those poor puppy mill pets.
  9. Nope I work at a Pet Valu, and I wouldn't trust the claims Dentastix makes. There's nothing to regulate pet food companies, so most of it's blatant lies (like how Pedigree claims to be a healthy food but it really is glorified corn covered in animal fat). The only proven way to keep their teeth and gums clean are teeth brushing.
  10. He bites me to the point my fingers get numb if I try to brush his teeth, so we have a mutual agreement that he'll just eat DentaStix LOL

If you don't mind me asking, is it a petsmart branch ?
  11. Yes, 1's mine, two are my mom's. I work at a pet store and read about pet nutrition a lot. A hobby I suppose. If he doesn't like dry food I wouldn't sweat it, most of it's garbage anyways (ground up corn and wheat products sprayed in animal fat). If you're concerned about his teeth/oral health you'll have to brush them, but most dogs adapt well to it anyways.
  12. Thats another problem, he's fussy with dry food. This is debatable, and sorry if it bothers you but we put out a bowl of food Purina sent us, since we started the diet after he was done all his food. and he refuses to eat it, and so we left it there thinking 'oh well he'll eat it when he's hungry' and he hasn't touched it in 3 days. Wait no, he ate the chicken pieces (real chunks of chicken) and left the kibble, so it's off to buy his Cesar tomorrow, LOL

    You have.. cats right?
  13. HAha aww it happens. I'd look for a weight care food that bases weight loss on lean proteins and not fillers. That should help your little guy lose and maintain weight.
  14. I may or may not have given up.
He started uhm.. having the poops. If you know what I mean. Which was horrid.

So maybe a home made diet just isn't meant for him
  15. Haha that's farrr. How's your dogs homemade diet going??
  16. it's on Innes
  17. Ah I don't know that area! I'm in Barrhaven! Pooop
  18. Nea Costco,
    That little motel's parking lot.
    Sounds so ghetto LOL
  19. I loooove broadways! Soooo yummy, do they have one in the east/south end?
  20. Haha my friends go there all the time after drinking too.
I'd much rather BroadWay, or heck, i'd rather go to mcdonalds lol
  21. Haha yes that's totally it. I've never been but I've had friends who've been (after drinking the next morning), and yea, they had bad experiences there
  22. Hi You commented on my thread where I mentioned the perkins fiasco, did you mean the one on Stlaurent? thats the one I was at
  23. Oh, never even thought to look there !
Yeah, old navy in general is pretty bad.
    Thank you !
  24. I just buy the Loblaws Joe Fresh ones, you can find them on clearance often, but their normal price is pretty good. Don't get the Old Navy ones though, they're awful!
  25. Hi
I saw you wrote you wear yoga pants a lot, I do too !
Anyways, I wanted to know if you'd share where you get yours. I ordered mine from Victoria's Secret, but it's 7$ per item for shipping (averages out to that) and they don't last very long.
