yes, in the case of these people, ignorance truly is bliss, they don't understand the "race to the bottom" and what that means for the products we buy, esp. the crap at dollar stores and walmart!

Thanks for the heads up! I think it is so important though to be aware of what is going on. Even if you choose to continue what you are already doing, you need to know what you value and don't. There is no right answer, but the discourse is necessary.
