  1. Nicki, edit your post, pm, addy, ok will get a mod to take it off there. Will talk to you tomorrow.
  2. I noticed the stamp thing before and wasn't sure why people wanted them? Postage for coupon trains? I actually hit the Metro at the mall where I work, and came home with quite a few. Not all for products I generally use, but figured maybe "trade material". My RCSS had nothing but a Splenda, but maybe I just haven't developed the "eagle eye" for spotting coupons yet. Thanks again for taking me under your wing for now... I'm sure I'll have questions as I get going...
  3. We are going thru the same thing right now, getting insurance on the hosue. Start off small with coupons. Check rcss and foodland and metro for coupons on the shelves. The local paper elgin market will have the smart source in them. Once you get a ew coupons, you can hop on a train. I will check the stash and send ya a few to get ya ggoing. Never send out your addy on a wall, always in a private message, don't worry all the folks on here have been great. If you are unsure of a deal, get a hold of me. For eg. if someone is offering $50 worth of mmixed coupons, for 5 or 6 stamps, that's a great deal, but don't give out like $20 for a mix of coupons, unless they are exactly what you want. Another great place to look for coupons is on the products your buying. Keep all pins, from icoke to stoffer's, you can trade them for things you want. And, then there's sdm points, oh my, you will love them.
  4. Great advice! Definitely coupons, I've been hooked on the Groupon/Wagjag/Dealfind since early December, why not add products as well? If the manufacturers are giving away money, I'd be dumb not to take it. Better in my pocket for sure. Now only if they had coupons for homeowners insurance..... lol.
  5. Just wait Nicki, this is just the start, then you get really hooked. Start slow and go with what interests you most.. If it's coupons start there, freebies, go there, but don't try to do this whole place at once, it will drive you crazy. Now, I suck at all the technical stuff, but can find my way around here great, and know who to ask what questions to, so anything you need, give me a shout. WE have done meet and greets in St.. T before, but have had a couple in London as well.
  6. Thanks bunches, I'll keep an eye out for my "mentor". Day 3 and I can tell you I find myself going around in circles on this site! Between trying to remember all the good information/deals everyone shares, and trying to organize myself (between the regular day job, of course!) it sure is overwhelming. But, ALSO very exciting! Thanks again....
  7. Lol, Stanley, I'm from Burwell, heck even smaller town. Ya, I will get ya hooked up with an sc'er will try to get one near the area, but for now, you can always ask me stuff, but I may have to ask others if they are really tough questions. My bro lives in St. T, but has been staying with us lately.
  8. I'm from the bustling Metropolis of Port Stanley Ontario.. However, I've now ventured north and settled 15k in St Thomas..
  9. Bonus points, yes it does, which small town are you from?
