Believe me, you aren't alone!!! I don't approach anyone, and I usually sound like an idiot responding when someone approaches me. If only it was as easy face to face as it is on the computer....lol =)

Being shy totally sucks I wouldn't be so bad if someone approached me but I would never approach somebody. I suck, lol
