I've been asking myself why I never bothered, too?

I would if it was something I was going to buy right away and I saw a coupon for BOGO or a dollar off or something like that. But it never really occurred to me that I should save the ones I want for future use.
Or that I should be double checking prices and deals so closely. Sometimes Compliments and Presidents Choice aren't on sale and cost more than a brand-name item with a coupon!

I feel so silly for having never used them before. Now I'm like a little old lady.

LOL! well it's good that your hubby doesn't completely hate the idea. Some people just don't get it. I personally don't understand why I never used coupons before. Most people think it's too much work, I don't find it to be work at all. I spend MAYBE 2 hours a WEEK, clipping organzing coupons. And save like 100$ a month. I've started a little binder and have been getting some interesting looks from everyone who sees me with it. Hubby thinks it's great because I forced him to watch Extreme Couponing and have convinced him that someday we will get that good at it!
