Well, actually BF & I got it for each other, lol but I had a raincheck for 50% off!! It said 40mins to put together but took us about 4hrs!! haha but got it all put together & all the wires hooked up & its so lovely & cozy!!

DH and I used to live right at Bay & Wellesley for many years before we had kids. How I lived downtown I will never know. I get " antsy " now, want to get out of the traffic, the congestion when we visit him. lol

Oh thanks so much! You know he has been downtown now for 5 years, just graduated this year so $$ are so tight, he really looks for what is on sale to decide what meals he will make for the week. ( then checks for a coupon that I mail him) SC has taught him and I well. lol

funny thing eh? DS was here and before we drove him back home, he wanted to grocery shop. I had no idea he also likes those, so I gave him my BOGO and the save $1.50 wyb 2. He was impressed. His downtown T.O. prices are NUTS!

Crazy sort of day for me, I guess I was just tired and had no kick in my step.

Sorry I bailed shortly after posting last night. We put our artificial tree up the same day the Santa Parade was on in T.O. We had concerns about Claudius
( cat ) but he has been well behaved so far. Only 1 funny thing happened with the tree skirt. With no presents on top of it to hold it in place, the 2 dogs and 2 cats were all sitting on different parts of it one afternoon, it was a " major staring contest " for sure. I only turned my head and noticed because Rufus was making his " disapproval " low growl. Well suddenly Claudius makes a dash for the stairs and the 2 dogs scrambling to catch him , but all that happened was they pulled the tree skirt out from under the tree, and could not get any traction to catch him, OMG, I almost lost it I was laughing so hard, they just kept moving their paws and going nowhere. They are so stupid ( dogs ) they think they have a chance of catching him! Ha ha, I am giggling at the points junkie comment, I think we all are. Talk to you again!

Oh it is good to hear from you, the baby is a " wall walker" too funny. We had a nephew ( years ago ) that had an uncle walk behind him and hold him by the suspenders straps to assist him in learning to walk. Then when he would walk by himself he could only do it when he hung onto his OWN suspender straps! Every time he let go he would plop on his bum! I feel sad thinking about how hard it will be to earn points again for next year at SDM. I will just have to see how things go as I don't really " shop " there often. ( only when it's free! lol)
