I used to like working contract, the hours were great, time off whenever you want, and no political bull to deal with. However, the market has changed, and the desire for benefits makes full time positions more lucrative.
I have been doing this for a great many years, and am mostly self taught. The occasional traing class here and there, but I am mostly a "hands on" kind of guy.

So, what do you do if I may ask? I understand you work out of your home?

Oh you are a brainiac type..... I see. Do you prefer to work contracts instead of being an employee full time? I would think that there would be plenty of work in your field. Are you self taught, or did you study it in school?

Are you in sales of some sort? I know a few others who were out of work for some times and they are now gaunfully employed in better jobs...I do wish you every success in finding what you want to work at!

I am pretty open though not always on my page. There was a memeber in thsi group that took to reading what anyone had wrtten to me and what I had responded with... That person got weird and accused me of all sorts of crap...and didn't bother to ask for clarification. It was not a pleasant experience and one that was totoally unnecessary. Since then, I suggest if anyon e wants any personal info or wants to share they should PM me... I hadn't realized that anyone had the time or the desire to read the page of others... I rarely look at profiles....Anytime you wish, send me a pm...

No, not at all silly.Do you feel old? I would think we are rougly in the same age group. I do not recall seeing those chocoalte bars.... and maybe it was only available in Ontario
I grew up in Montreal. Also old is a state of mind... I behave in many ways just like I did when I was a teenager.... I hope I never grow up!
Last night you said you were alone because your son and his wife left... Do not like having the place to yourself? I loved living on my own, and I love it when I am home alone here! Could be bescause growing up I always had my own room and my mom worked all the time... I also never had a room mate when I was living on my own, except for my cats!

Are you getting soaking wet while repping in the rain? That could be fun....

All is well around here though I could use another vacation...We traveled on average 250 km a day... and were on the go constantly. Great food, great weather, great scenery...
