Nope, I'm not from Sudbury, but am from rural eastern Ontario where the sentiment of a Sudbury Saturday Night and the culture are much the same. I used to go out to the bingo on Fridays with the girls after we got done at the factory and play a few cards, and then if somebody won a bit of money, we would really party on Saturday night as whoever had won would generally treat us all to a round or two of drinks (LOL, sometimes line dancing was involved... it was rural!). For the record, I have also seen Stompin' Tom live about 5 or 6 times now... always a good time
