Poll: Do you miss Zellers? Yes? No? Why? Why not?

I miss Zellers. Used to buy a lot of my clothes there. Our Walmart which is where Zellers used to be has crappy clothes...not much in plus sizes. I finally went to a Target last week to see what all the fuss was about. Was not impressed. No plus sized clothes at all. The only thing I noticed was the staff are all very friendly. Not worth driving almost an hour. I`ll be sticking with Walmart.

It was. Staff were always friendly and helpful. I bought a lot of Carol Reed clothes. Not sure where they are available now.

Me, too, Crochetlady - I still have Delta Burke and BWW clothes I wear from Zellers.

I only shopped at a few Zellers that were close by. I never found them dirty, the staff was pretty good. Their were good sales, especially on women's clothes and outerwear. The restaurants had fantastic food that was reasonable in price. I loved the chicken caesar salads. Yes I do miss Zellers.

you just reminded me about the restaurants
they had a coupon book at the cash for restaurant specials
they sometimes had a card to be stamped by the cashier, so you get a free lunch after so many stamps

Good question, Shwa Girl!.....The only time I liked shopping at Zellera was when they were closing down! Got so many good deals, wish I knew about this forum back then!!!.....I liked that they were Canadian, ,but that was it. Never any great deals, and it seemed like had to collect a zillion HBC points to "buy" the very smallest thing!!! I must say that I'm really loving my current affair with newcomer Target!!! Better deals and cleaner looks!!!

Other than that, I just go to Wal-Mart. I never really went to Target.
