told the older lady behind me I was price matching and using coupons -well she huffed and then when I was going to my car -and putting my bags in -she was a few cars down when I returned my buggy she gave me an awfull stare -you would think seniors would price match to make their pensions go further-these prices would shock them I am sure -I know my mom use to complain about food prices(she use to tell me she could get into the show and a chocolate bar for a .25 as a kid)(only once a year-after chores as there were 8 kids) she was 91-ahh the good old days eh -well we smart canuckers always try our best to saveThis thread is currently associated with: Food Basics, Fortinos, Kellogg's, Metro, No Frills, Pharmasave, WalmartLast edited by coupon girl; Fri, Jul 25th, 2014 at 07:24 AM.

Great shop. It's unfortunate that the lady was so rude about it.

Great shop as usual. Seniors can be so ornery. I don't understand them.

Oh, you did great with this shop as usual. Very organized. I wish I could get my hands on those Bic soleil razors for DD.

Awesome shop! It's great that you can PM produce.
That lady sounds like a bag. You warned her, so she easily could have left to find another lane instead of complaining.

Yes some folks can be crusty. Not long ago I was price matching and using a coupon and the old lady behind me told me that I didn't need to use my coupon as I already got a deal. What I would have liked to tell her I won't write here but I told her nicely that I was allowed to use my coupon and that would make it free and I like to save my money.
