That's excellent! I taught my son about shopping well and couponing early - now that he's 22 and on his own, he appreciates it all even more!

Awesome. My kids are 5 yr old boy and 16 months old daughter and i soooo hope and pray that they learn how to save money from..... Me....(ofcourse). My husband is not very good at saving money. He feels embarrassed to use coupons himself but when i tell him that i got that much stuff for only a fraction of the cost then he surely appreciates me. Lol

My dd is going off to university in another province in Sept. She said be sure to give me coupons before I go!!! My ds last semester bought chicken on sale with $5 off coupons on them. Im so proud of them. They do like coupons too. To think of how much money they will save over their lifetime is just amazing.

Awesome. My kids get excited about coupons too but they haven't scored their own deal yet.

That is wonderful she has taken the reigns from you so early, and doing the math herself too. I watched a snippet on Extreme Couponing last night where a woman who had twins did the same, teaching them the valuable savings in using coupons. Mind you in the U.S. they have way better deals and offers than we have in Canada.
