Yesterday my Mom Texted me to say she needed to go grocery shopping and asked if I wanted to go with her after work. I knew there was very little on sale we needed so I was just going to tag along. At the last minute I grabbed my coupon bag and brought it along just in case. Here is what I found at Freshco.
2 x Robin Hood Cake and Pastry Flour (2 kg) $5.39 - 50% off Sticker = $2.69/each - $1.00 (Coupon from Wal-Mart magazine) = $1.69/bag
Not bad in my opinion, I personally do not use this flour but my Mom is a baker and cake decorator and will use it so huge score considering normally we pay $3.99 - $4.99/bag.

Nice, I have done this a few times and found some deals. Also in the past DH wanted to go shopping and I said "wait, wait...my coupons" and he would reply "nah, no time" and he would find a deal and knew my handy-dandy stash was would not have been as much a waste of time to take a minute and get them...now...he asks..."got our coupons?" or I see them already loaded in the car ...missed a few deals but now he has the scars too and no more time mgmt speaches...(ha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!).
Glad you went with your mommy, time spent with mommy is aways great (even if sometimes it is a grinn and bear situation)-life is short, we all know but when it happens...it is shorter than you imagined.
