^ That looks AMAZING and YUMMERS!
Plan so far - but that can change once I get going tomorrow.
There are just the three of us, and the two men are not turkey fans...
Baked hickory smoked ham, glazed
Cabbage rolls
devilled eggs
homemade pickled beets
marinated cucumbers/onions
- have to decide on hot veg yet
Also need to come up with some sort of potato dish - husband will have a few holubtsi, but he's not a huge fan (too bad for him!). All this has to work with a smaller oven in this house than we used to have - I'll have to even check if I can roast the ham and bake the holubtsi at the same time!
I don't want to make mashed, maybe something in the slowcooker?
Maybe next weekend, I'll do a turkey-ish meal - bought one of those Butterball turkey roast thingees - using a coupon it was $11; then we'll have stuffing, mashed potatoes, etc.Last edited by Natalka; Sun, Oct 12th, 2014 at 09:53 PM.
