I went to Walmart for a quick shop last night to pick up milk and other stuff...
I was checking out the laundry detergent deals and found 85 loads of Arm & Hammer on sale for $4.74 I was thinking YES!!! a great deal with the $1.25 coupon tear pad and 10% off from hubby's discount card plus I had overage from the other products I was buying using coupons!!!
I CHECKED the Arm & hammer label 3 times!!!! I wanted to be sure I wasn't see things.
I grabbed x2 Bottles I went to the till with my other stuff and both bottles scanned at $9.97 I said politely to the cashier the shelf price says $4.74 and she went to talk to her CSM. Cashier came back and tried entering them at $4.74. I politely stated one should be FREE because it scanned wrong and she agreed. So in the end I got both FREE because I got SCOP and had overage that paid for the second one.

Gotta love free
Good that you mentioned the policy. I wonder how many people miss out on SCOP due to similar situations? I've had cashiers tell me that if I mention the pricing error at the till, then SCOP doesn't apply (lol!!)

I thought they only apply SCOP on the first product. It must be a leftover on their sale last week? Great catch though!

Yes Scop applies to the first item which is why I politely stated I should get one free.
The second one I got for $4.74 minus 10% off walmart discount card and $1.25 coupon. Plus I had overage from my other purchases that paid for the rest of the balance for the second one.
