Isn't it a hoot when you get chatting in line with someone? I also love the thrift store ( and their discount offers! ) , the last big purchase I made was a whack of cookbooks all so very cheap! Maybe next time you will luck out and find something nice for yourself @coupon girl .

My store only gives a store credit on returns but I think you can return to a different store.
I scored all kinds of cute dresses today mostly for DD but got a nice spring/summer one for myself.
Oh, almost forgot I nabbed another 100% cashmere sweater for $4. I'm becoming a cashmere hoarder, well at least I have a cashmere stash!!

Store credit and most stores require you to use the credit on the same visit.

Thanks ladies. I went boy it's hard to spend $30 when you really don't want to. I tell you I won't be doing that again what a silly policy.
Don't want to high jack your thread ... anymore than I already have lol but I did pick up two kiddie umbrellas, a froggie raincoat, a pair of osh kosh boots for the new babe, jelly shoes and dress shoes for DD and two dresses for myself not too bad but doesn't seem like much for $30

Oh boo they wouldn't put it on a gift card? that sucks! This happened to me at the gap! I had $110 from returns for my boys from birthdays. They would only give me a store credit on a flimsy receipt. My name was on it so no one else could use it (which was fine but still weird) and I couldn't use it online!!! I was really upset. I never go to the mall so had to find $110 worth of stuff for the boys right then and there. And I hated not being able to optimize the spending with online promos. Ugh stupid gap. Hijack on the hijack but I feel you

no worries ladies I don't mind if you hijack the thread -sorry I forgot to tell you anna they make you use it that day -it would be nicer if put on a giftcard for future use -hence why I don't buy hubby a lot of clothing maybe one at a time cause I don't like their return system

Just think a pair of Osh Kosh boots full price at Carter's are almost 30(over $30 if they're winter boots). For $30 you didn't do bad at all!

I was able to get 6 tops, a jacket and 3 bags of yarn for $30 including tax. The jacket was in very good condition it retails for $120.
