Alright, true story...
A few years ago I had a friend visiting from Texas. We both wear hearing aids but can get by under ideal conditions. So, we're walking down the street and go by a place that specializes in poutine. He turned to me and said "Wott the hayl zin POOO teeeen?!"
I tell him "French fries, gravy and cheese curds." He scrunches up his nose and walks a bit further and then turns to me and says "SHEEP TURDS?!!!"
Yah, I admit, we'd had a few beers earlier.

You should be really proud of yourself, Because of you I got to talk to many people I wouldn't have and had lots of fun
