Rita is always able to come upon a suitable comment when required, especially when it involves Norris.


Rita: Did you ever run away from home?’


Norris: No, I certainly did not!


Rita: That must have been a great disappointment to your mother.


Eileen too can produce the words when needed. Of Tracy Barlow she says:


‘Even her initials are a killer disease!’

Yes, there were a lot of people who questioned his acting skills when he was announced as joining corrie

The Xmas Day episode was a bit meh, while I think it was a good attempt at Christmas spirit compared to the usual drama, it was oversweet and not believable (plus I know the Tyrone money problem story that will come as a result will make me hate corrie. I liked Fiz when she was younger, but since Kirsty/Tyrone, she is just whiney and has little personality).

i agree about fiz. her character has become boring to watch. too many long suffering, 'woe is me' looks.

i do enjoy the comedic relief provided by sally and tim.

Corrie is just getting a little ridiculous now, the new producer just took over (or will soon, the date is around now) so hopefully it gets better in the months to come or I may stop watching

interesting that callum is bringing kylie and sara closer. wonder where everyone sleeps in that house though. once the baby comes it's going an even tighter squeeze.
