At first I though it was a female cat and somehow maternal instincts were kicking in, and that was why the cat kept laying down on it's side, but apparently it's a male cat. I think most cats avoid toddlers and their grabby hands.

Aw, she's SO sweeet!
Ours can't go out, but my husband took Vader (8 months) out just to dip her feet into the snow yesterday, lol! She was some PO'ed!

LOL Natalka! That's so funny. I took Tank out in the snow when she was about that age too. I'll never do that again!
PS. you guys have snow over there?! It's been close to 20C in Toronto! All the windows are open. :D

Oh, boy - I've been in that situation, but never with a kitten. We had a cat gone for three weeks, though.

Put a t-shirt outside which you have worn (don't wash it) - so your scent is out there. I thought it was a crazy thing to do, but it worked in our case! I just tied it to the side handrail on the front stairs.

Oh that really is the worst

Don't give up hope though, my cat puff was missing for TWO WEEKS once and I really thought she was gone for good. I was outside one morning just looking in the backyard for some reason and she was sitting on the neighbours back deck. When I called her name she looked up and raaan over. She was so so so skinny but happy to be home. I hope you find her!!
