This is actually becoming an annoyance of mine - people are getting their envies and waiting upwards of 2 weeks to leave a trade rating (outright admitted) even when the envie has the username of the trader, or a note with the username is with the trade.

I can understand that people get busy, but why the long delay leaving a rating?, it's not like you have 50 choices to sift through & weigh the pros & cons of each choice.

i think some people might want to wait till the traders send the trade rating before they do so. Just in case the trader does not receive the trade, they can said the same thing. But once they leave the rating, they have to mail back the trade if one side of the trade is lost.

this suxs im sick as a dog and i need to go out to buy a stamp for a trade.. i better pm the person let them know there envie may be a couple days late... i dont have a working car at the moment and walking when your sick for like 30min round trip to post office suxs... i hope they will understand

I suppose, but, if you (general you) receive my envie, then you should be giving me a rating shortly after rather than waiting until I receive your envie. The person receiving the trade cannot control what happens to the trade that you (again, general you) send; this should not affect their rating. Waiting to rate a trade until both sides are received simply opens the door for retaliation ratings IMO.

I have sent a couple envies first to more seasoned traders that have been burned by newbies so they feel more comfortable with the trade, they then give me a rating and send the return envie.

In the end it may delay when I receive my end of the trade, but it helped the other person feel more comfortable with the trade after losing a lot of trust in newbies.

yes i think that is the case with some of my trades too
so if dont reicieve it they can say they didnt either even though they did

I am having a communication issue with scadeau. I have sent pm's and posted on her wall requesting an update on my train, with no response. The person before scadeau mailed the envie July 11. She has been online many times since the pm's were sent (I peek almost daily) I understand that the mail moves in mysterious ways, however not replying to pm's makes me think the worst.

Still nothing here, the rider after her has still not seen the train, and I have had NO communication from her. I suspect she is in the wind, and has possibly created a new user for herself. My vote is BLACKLIST! I'm pm'ing her address to Sally now. Has no one else had an issue with this member?
