CP sucks right now i sent a train out last Tuesday came back today insuffisicient (sp) postage i had this weighted at the post office.I had to repackage it as it was all messed up with black ink.I just went over too the post office to resend it ,i had my receipt.I want to know where it train has been for the last 6 days.This train was going to a person in Montreal

Yup, CP sucks!! What was their answer or reason for the delay?

I had the same thing happen with 2 envies I sent out Monday - they camp back yesterday all tattered and black crap all over them with insufficient postage notes on them.... makes me wonder what some of the envies look like when they arrive!!1

Same thing happened to me. I had the envelope weighed and posted but apparently CP wanted another 2 cents.

This is a warning to traders.

I have severely warned djstar08. They have abused the itrader system and left 3 negatives for one trader.

THe trade was sent 10 days ago. As we all know that is WAY to soon to be leaving a negative, and they left 3.

I have left a negative rating on dj's itrader to warn other traders.

If anyone else has received a negative from djstar08 let me know.

A lot of people don't put their usernames on the envelopes and i get totally confused. Some even send using a different name then the one I send to, i've noticed

I decided to keep track by creating PM sub-folders - ROAK, Trades in transit, Trades completed, Incomplete trades (where we talked but didn't end up trading after all) & general.
As soon as we agree & swap info, I move all the PMs with that person to the in transit, and when an envie arrives I go into my in transit folder to match that to the user so I can provide feedback; then those PMs are moved from that folder to the completed folder.

i have the exact same thing but my names are different like

unsure/pending trades
trades completed
trades agreed on but need to be mailed out etc .

First of all the fellow didn't what to put a new stamp on .I said it's not my fault that you weighed it and it wasn't enough postage,but he know that's the only place i have envelopes mailed and then i asked where do you think the envelope went he said who know

I print all my trades and put them in a binder and when I receive the trade I check mark it and leave a rating once they receive my trade I mark it complete...

I leave trade ratings when I open my mail. If I am unsure about what coupons were supposed to be in the envelope, I look back in my pm's to confirm it first (since I often have many trades on the go at the same time). Whenever I do trades I ask the other member to put their username on or in the envelope so that it is easy to leave trade ratings when it arrives. Just a suggestion.

The folders sounds like a good idea, I have so many pm's in a week it can be difficult to keep it all organized.

Yikes! I am in the middle of one and that user messaged me today saying "Still waiting on your coupons.. " Well of course they haven't received it yet! We just made the trade Sat evening and then it was picked up Monday afternoon!! I have to go on holidays and have mentioned that if I don't get their envelope by Friday I will leave them a rating when I get back after the 4th. I hope I don't come back to problems!! Eek!!

This is actually becoming an annoyance of mine - people are getting their envies and waiting upwards of 2 weeks to leave a trade rating (outright admitted) even when the envie has the username of the trader, or a note with the username is with the trade.

I can understand that people get busy, but why the long delay leaving a rating?, it's not like you have 50 choices to sift through & weigh the pros & cons of each choice.

I didn't give a few people ratings for about 10 days I try to give ratings the same day and I usually do, but life sometimes gets so busy out of nowhere. Between looking at houses, teething baby, SO in the trades working crazy hours (= no break for me), grocery shopping, cleaning my house, packing etc ... I am making myself tired.

I think it helps a TON when the username is on the envie. I just found a system that works for me to keep track of trades, but it would be 500 times easier if I had the usernames right in front of me!

Ok great! Thanks so much! I probably won't know until I come back from vacation on the 4th! I guess when he asked me to look at his list and then got mad because I said I didn't really have anything off his wishlist and he got mad at me saying something like "funny I know i have a lot from your list" and then when trying to explain that he was the one that wrote me so I thought he was interested in something in particular but that I didn't have what he wanted unless he wanted to take a look and see if there was something! ARGH Sorry if I am confusing!

I thinks it the week that CP ate all of our envies. I just got a train today and the whole front of the envie is almost ripped right off. Thankfully there was the instruction sheet wrapped around all of the coupons so nothing could fall out.
