I would leave a pos rating ..they asked how they could fix the situation ..you turned them down...

agreed... they shouldn't get a negative if you wouldn't let them try to fix it.

While it's true that they should have been more clear that the coupons were soon to expire- I can't imagine why they would have sent them knowing they would expire so soon - but if you told them not to bother about fixing it you can't really hold the final result against them. Who knows they might have been able to give you similar coupons with longer expires

I am just throwing my two cents in about the length of time some mail is taking to arrive...
I live in the city, not the country, and the average arrival date for mail I send is 3 weeks! I have had MANY envelopes just disappear into CP land, including four traditional trains that just never seemed to make it home to me.
I have been given a little shimmer of hope...
I just had someone pm me two weeks ago to tell me that they received an envie from me that had a postmark on it dated for May 16th!

It has become more and more the standard having to wait much longer than stated times by CP for the mail to be delivered.

My mother mailed me an envelope of coupons from Duncan to Victoria on the 16th of October and I finally received them on Nov 2.

Anyone have experience trading with IRefuse_2_PayFullPrice? We traded FPC's and both our ends were supposed to be sent out Oct 26. She sent 2x $10 Pampers, FPC Sunlight and 2x $1 Scott's Paper towel and I sent 4 Lunchmate + Fruit FPC's, an English muffins FPC, and the Garnier FPC from fb. I haven't heard back from a pm I sent her Sunday. Don't think she's been online since then. We only live an hour away from each other and I did two other trades that same week and both arrived less than 5 days later. Starting to worry...

ETA: Rec'd her end this past Friday (Oct 16). Post marked Nov 12.... Said she was sick. Left positive FB.

No one should be even asking about envies for 2 weeks past mail date, CP is slow in general but the Xmas mail will start now too and slow them down more

anyone traded with steen33 recently? we did a trade 3 weeks ago for Nestea FPC's in exchange for similac mom checks. I haven't receive her envy yet and seems like she hasn't been online for a while now.

Just wondering how others would rate this experience. I agreed to a trade with someone and when I received the envelope 3 of the coupons were expired and one was missing. The post mark on the envelope was dated the day after the last of the 3 coupons expired.

When I went to my inbox to check on what we agreed on I realized the trader never told me the expiry of these coupons, yet was clear about the expiry dates of the other coupons that were part of the trade.

I feel a bit duped to be honest. I never would have done the trade had I realized the expiry dates on the coupons were so soon and I didn't think to ask. So now there are $6 in coupons I can't use plus $3 that was never put in the envelope in the first place.

I messaged the trader and I didn't feel they were overly apologetic and blamed Canada post on the late arrival (3 weeks since we agreed to the trade). They asked what they could do to make up for it, but didn't offer any ways they could make this right. I told them not to bother as I was kind of miffed by the tone of the message I received and haven't heard back since.

The other thing is that this person has a really good trade ratig and has never had a neutral or negative rating.

So I'm just wonderig how some more experienced traders would rate this trade? Is it my fault, as a fairly new trader, that I didn't ask them to clarify the expiry dates of the coupons? Would I be wrong to give this a neutral rating?

They offered to make it up, if you agreed on making it up and they didnt send those you could leave neutral but without giving them a chance it would be unfair, but what $3 was not put in the envie?

Wow that beats mine! All the mail I sent from work the first week of July showed over the last 10 days

I'm asking mainly because of her complete lack of communication. Usually that's an indication of something gone wrong, whether it's a scam or personal issues.

I won't leave neutral feedback, I see everyone's point. I just felt particularly miffed that the person wasn't clear on the expiry of the coupons that I received that had expired by the time I got them, while sharing the expiry of all the other coupons. It seemed a bit deliberate. It's alright though, lesson learned!

It was a mix of coupons, the biggest one was a b1g1 peak freaks.

That is a "big coupon" to be missing from the trade. May I ask.. what did you send the other trader? Coupons, giftcard, stamps, pins?
