Ok now I've really decided that I won't trade with new people anymore, regardless of how badly I need something.

One person messaged me with a huge wish list that took me a long time to count up and type everything I had for her. I even told her that I could get more of one particular coupon that she wanted because the store tearpad was still full.

She ignored two messages and when I asked her whether she was actually going to do this or not, she bailed because she is too busy?

She was the one who messaged ME in the first place. To my post that said I needed a very quick trade. I'm busy too, but you made me waste my time. But my time isn't important right?

Totally Agree with you! Some members think that because they have a higher trade rating... they are better off then newbies! But I have a few High rating members on my blacklist too. Sad but that's the reason I dont always trade with anyone so much! With 2 kids and job and hubby who is seldom around for kids activities or to help with day to day stuff - I dont have time to maintain WL and TL. Would let the coupons go in recycling at times.

Perhaps - I would take it very seriously when I am told this on a job (that I am a newbie with less experience) then to get such a comment from members here just for coupons! If I dont have a coupon, I might pay the full or sale price! Still better for my peace of mind!

I guess Newbies can have a separate thread to help out newbies for getting off the ground in trades!

I have traded with lots of new traders.
If someone send me a complete trade request with coupons from my wish list I am always happy to trade.

in fact I was one of Peachy's first trades!

There are lots of people who will trade with newbies, not everyone has had bad experiences (in fact most of my issues have been with high rated traders)

I hate keeping a list and will happily trade with a newbie. We were all new at one time. Most season traders don't trade with the likes of me as I don't have a list and all the UPCs but I still find lots of people to trade with when I need something.

I don't think there's anything wrong with newbies. I have been the first trade for many newbies. We were all a newbie once. I just meant that since I am cutting down on trades, I will not trade with new people (as in, people I haven't traded with before). I will probably trade with the 5 or 6 same people over and over again to avoid aggravation with flakes like the person I had mentioned

Should also mention that newbies are often taken advantage of. I remember being a newbie and some "seasoned" people here taking advantage of me, even claiming that I sent them envelopes with missing items (when I knew 10000% that I sent those items).

Is anyone waiting on trades or trains for lveira? I have rode a few trains with her without issue, but my latest Trad Train is MIA & she isn't responding to PMs.
She's the last rider on my Traditional Train, the envie was mailed to her on Dec 7th. I have sent several PMs & a wall post & she's still not even acknowledging me. I see at least one other conductor is looking for a response from her too. She logged into SC last on Mon Jan 13th.

anyone waiting on trades from CouponasaurusRex? never recv'd my original trade from her, and it's been a month since she was supposed to send my end back... pm'd her to see if the second envie was mailed, she's been logging on but not answring my pm.
