We lost a lot in a fire this week-end... I had a trade which was suppose to go out on Friday/Saturday...I have messaged the member asking if they wanted a new trade envie or should I just send back their envie when I get it and call off the trade....I don't want a nrg rating what do you think I should do ?? as it was a few coupies had been ruinned whith spilt coffee so I had added a $5 g.c plus Fpc to make up for approx $5 worth of reg coupies that were wrecked.....

OMG jezz i hope your ok, i'm sure they'd understand if you told them you had a major issue like a fire! .. you are well known on here no one would think you'd not hold your end of a deal if you couldn't due to something major like this

A neg rating? I would say not. You've already PM'ed the person, you've posted here and geez, a fire! I hope there was no extensive damage to your home or to your family's health and pfft to a few lousy coupons.

I have not seen the total damage yet I just know there is damage to 1 bdrm and the kitchen...and a hole in the shared walls...apparently a deep fryer/grease pan was left unattended... we are ok , furr ball is ok and laptop was saved . thanks for all the well wishes everyone

If the person gets that upset with you, I will replace your end for you! Plain and simple!

Glad to hear that your whole family is okay. I don't think you will get a neg rating. After what happened to you. It would reversed if you did get one.

I have spilt my tea all over my coupons so I do know that no matter how careful you are accidents do happen and I can only imagine a fire in my home.The least of your worries right now is coupons!! Take care of yourself and I hope things are back to normal soon.

Are you kidding me ??? ...you had a FIRE in your house & you are worried about some negative rating & some coupons ?

The only thing you should be worried about is the safety of your whole family & pets & of course yourself .

If I was at the other end of your trade not only I wouldn't want you to send me any coupons , I would be looking at how I can help you out ...receiving coupons from someone who had a fire in her house would be the last thing on my mind .

so as it goes things are still a mess and I did finally here back from the Sc'er I had a trade going with...they have advised me if I can't hold up my side of the trade and they don't get their coupies back ..they will leave a neg rating I p'med them to say I have mailed their coupies back plus some they were asking for as well as a fpc for her troubles...life happens..I don't know what else I could say to her.....

I think sometimes people forget that they are coupons.... I had a little bit of a messup and someone got a little irritated with me, they got what they wanted a little late, but it showed up, I explained that I have things MIA from the post as well, like a 30$ gc that was sent to me about a month ago, still not arrived, and I just shrugged it off, when you had something happen like a fire people should be MORE then understanding... like i said, they are coupons. gcs and such. what happeneds if we didnt have this site, and coupons we would all be paying full price for everything we wanted.

wow. if that had happened to me I would sent back their end without the extras. I'm glad everyone was ok and i hope the damage isnt too expensive to repair.

Even if they were to leave a negative, I don't think anyone would not trade with you because of it, you sent it back with extras and it was a fire! Seriously, if it was me I would just be happy that you and your family were ok, even if both sets went up in flames. Its not like you are a newbie scamming people on the site!

Don't give that person you were trading with a second thought! That is an absolutely rediculous thing to say to you! She/He should be ashamed of themselves. It is important to remember that coupons are mostly little strips of paper that we picked up for FREE when we were out and about! I hope you don't waste another moment thinking/worrying about this. Anyone who has been on this site for any length of time would know that something was up if they saw that you had a negative rating.

You should update your wishlist so we can all send you some coupons to help build your stash again, I would love to do that for you!!

OK...I'm usually pretty quiet on here, BUT this is bordering on the sublimly ridiculous...it was a FIRE! Thank God everyone is OK, who cares about coupons (I wouldn't if you had been trading with me)!

Jezz, I have never personally traded with you, but would do so in a heartbeat and not think twice about it. Please do not give ANY of this a second thought....honestly, just when you think you've heard it all!
