A question....don't know where else to ask it:
Joined a train in June. It was put on hold by the strike and then eventually mailed out. All other riders received their envie. I am assuming, at this point, my envie is a write off. I was so excited too because I had won the bonus coupons. I have since ridden another train by this conductor(who is awesome) and received it. Do I just not leave feedback for the first train at all? For none of the riders either? I feel bad not leaving any feedback because they all sent their coupons, I assume, but I didn't receive anything.
Question #2- I have been on a few trains lately where I have gotten expired coupons. Conductor will specify a date like no expiry's before Aug 31st and I am getting coupons that expired Aug 1st. Or my wishlist had, for example, 2.00 off OFF from websaver on my wishlist and I've had a couple of riders substitute (without asking) 5.00 wub2 OFF products. Ya, it's a better deal but it's from an insert which I have multiples of and didn't need. I was on two separate trains but the same rider on both trains sent me expired coupons and on the third train, another rider sent me an FPC which was awesome but I received the train really quickly and it was already expired. It expired 30 days before the conductor's requested date.
I don't wish to leave neg. feedback. Do I just leave zero feedback?

I think that the trade ratings are becoming a little bit irrelevant when nobody wants to leave a negative, so they just don't leave any feedback at all. How can we know if people aren't doing things properly or following the rules when people will ignore the bad trades and leave no rating instead of saying something about them and leaving a neutral or negative rating?
Sally erases all retaliations, so it's better to communicate with the person you're trading with and see if they will fix the situation. If not, you should leave the appropriate rating.I am looking for many fpc coupons and willing to trade gift cards - especially stouffers and fresh produce. The expiry dates must be at least 1 month away. I'm also looking for betty crocker, pillsbury, philadelphia, nexxus, $3 beef, icecream, beans. I prefer large trades but have few coupons to trade.

Yes, definitely give a rating. If the other people know that something isn't right then the ball should be in their court. Maybe give them a heads up and lay out the facts, as you see them, and then just ask them "When would you like me to give this a rating?".
A sender's duty doesn't stop the moment the envie is in a mailbox. I think it is only finished when the person receiving says yes, everything expected was received.

I don't know about the zero rating. I have had a few incidents the last week where I felt obligated to give a zero rating as opposed to a positive one - both (neither retaliations) were removed by mods. I felt they were more than justified, and I explained my reasoning in the feedback section.
From what it looks like, its either a positive, or none at all. however, don't ignore the trade - might be best to let them know that you are opting not to leave feedback. I was dinged because I decided not to tell the conductor that I was not going to leave anything, then received a neutral rating because I was "ignoring her requests for feedback".
I haven't quite figured out the best approach to situations where they aren't great, but not horrible. Would be great to get some clarification

I am just wondering how long after a trade has been sent out do we wait to contact if the trade has not been received? I know different provinces take different time lengths but in general how long should I wait before cntacting a trader when I have not received my end and they have received mine?

Have not received envie from Etown that was supposed to be mailed out Jun 14.
No replies to PMs. I'm so sorry that I had to leave a negative. I hope everything is ok with Etown and that she will return soon.

We have waited long enough for etown, unfortunately leave a negative for her and hopefully in the near future shell be back and make good on the trades and we can remove them. Im sure it's issues at home but since we havent heard from her at all I have given her ample time to respond, which is unfortunate.

Wow, Someone PM'ed me today saying "Find something on my list you want to trade". So I took a look at their trade & wishlist and mentioned that I didn't really have anything they were looking for but was there something in particular on my tradelist that they wanted (since they did contact me!) And the user was pretty rude saying "Funny cause i swear i saw things on your list that i have". So again I asked for them to look at my trade list and let me know if there was something that interested him because there was items I would trade for if he had something... why do people just randomly message people wanting to trade and then act rude when you are just trying to ask some questions! I am new to the site and I am having such a great time on here but I really don't like how some people can have such attitudes!
