Im glad i decided to look in this thread this morning! I have have had 2 great trades with lidiasisi in the past and they both went awesome! I was running an auction for a $10GC and her bid was amazing! I was to close the auction today. After reading this thread, I have now closed auction due to being leary of being scre**d over. Seeing her bid was the only bid I got!

Is there any way to track people by their IP address and stop them from making multiple accounts?

THere are but it's easy to re-route your ip into another code.

I just bookmarked this thread to keep it right next to my bookmark for my own trade list. I am hoping that this will help to encourage me to check mailing addresses in the future. My dh considers anyone with a trade rating of under 50 to be a newbie. I told him that a large amount of SC members have trade ratings under 50. I'm going to also post in my own trade thread that if a person has a trade rating of under 20 I will want them to mail their side of the trade first. *shakes head* I thought lidiasisi was a little too agreeable when we made our trade arrangements. BTW: she was the one who approached me, not the other way around.

edit: I just looked back at my trade with her and she did not give me a name when she sent me her mailing address. I just used lidia from her user name. *shrug*

Seeing as lidiasisi had been previously blacklisted under two diff trader names, I don't know why her current auction hadn't been shut down when it was first discovered who she was, and she should have been banned ???? Allowing her to continue to trade (and putting the onus on the people trading with her) is not right IMO....

I'd be keeping my eyes open in case she opens up another account......based on her history, she does approx 10 "good' trades to somewhat establish herself, then does HV trades and scams everyone.

I to will be asking for newbies/ lower rated traders ( unless we have traded before) to send there end first. I lost a large amount of coupons to SavinMoney's auction in December and if this trade does not come I just cant take the chance of loosing a large amount of HV/FPC coupons again. I know it sucked being asked to send first when I was a newbie but now I see why its needed.

Its just sad people go to so much trouble to scam others for coupons! We are all here to help each other save money. How can someone sleep at night knowing they ripped someone off who could of really used those extra coupons to feed there family for the week. Some people are heartless!!!

OH MY POOP! i've been possibly been scammed by lidiasisi!

I sent her $50 worth of GC's just the other day in exchange for a $50 WM GC.

I had my suspicion at the time since she only had 8 ratings but I decided to give her the benefit of the doubt. Now I'm really upset and dissappointed in myself because some of us really need $50 to help us survive another week.

I haven't sent my end yet. It's still sitting in an envelope on my kitchen counter. I'm waiting for her end first. Since it was a HV/FPC trade... She was sending me a few Chapman's $4, a couple other FPCs in exchange for a Marc Angelo FPC and a couple other FPCs.... I'll give it til Easter to show up, before Re-List them.

i feel so bad for all of u - i too never check the blacklist before trading, but then again, i usually stick to the traders i know. I'm going to make it a point now to check the list.

I don't think i've seen such a notorious scammer since krispy

Yep.. I traded with her BEFORE you posted the negative.. Have been waiting over a week for 7xFPC formula - in return for my $25 GC..

Never been "scammed" before but always a first I guess.

I've never been scammed before - and saw her ratings (which were better than zero) and thought it was fine.. I actually gave birth to daughter and sent her a PM to apologize for sending a few days late.. She claimed her envy had already been sent at that point - but congratulated me on birth.. How kind of her isn't it? Shocking the kinds of things people will do.. and the levels they will go to.. Never dealt with me before though and when this mama is pissed off "ain't nobody gonna be happy" including her.. Let the games begin.....
