    Thank you Dan, Natalka...honestly...I can't stop the tears! My hubby asked if I wanted to go to a movie this evening, and I said no, I just don't feel up to it, and he gave me big hugs, too....I'm a mess. But I do feel hugged by you both and I thank you so very much.....

    Jina I did read your post, I wish I had words to advise you with, but it is an ongoing situation in many cultures where the parents control and invade their children's lives and space, sometimes by creating that film of sense of duty along with guilt.
    You are justified in feeling the way you do, the problem is how do you get your DH to understand those feelings, and is change possible without offending him or his parents?
    All I will pass along are the requested virtual hugs and wish you the very best!
