It is fantastic to share the joy of giving with your grandson! This is the first year that my 3yo was actively involved in filling a box, and it was so rewarding. (He wanted to empty his piggy bank and send his favourite blankie too!). Good luck with your boxes and I hope you are able to make this into a tradition

I called a local church and the cut-off date is Nov 21st, so plenty of time to put together a girl and a boy box. Rather than throwing money at some charity and wondering just where it goes, this is such a personal way of sending joy and good-will to children in our world....Thanks Robyn for posting the information!

We have done this project fro 5 years now..and every year my kids look forward to filling those little shoe boxes with goodies...it's a wonderful way to teach your children to give.
