Hi folks:
I don't know if i can save enough as most of the things i have enough cash for is No-Name products, as we are on a very tight budget, but coupons sometimes help especially if it's an item for free, lol.
The best day to everyone. Vivian

hey Vivian,
keep your eyes peel'd you will start to learn just how cheap you can actually get things that are "name brand" products. There is nothing wrong with buying the no-name stuff.. it's the SAME product just the packaging is different
I am a "senior canuck" but have been away from the site for awhile.. Please be patient with me as I go through and re-learn the ins and outs, do's and don'ts once again.
. I look forward to chatting and trading with all of you

The thing to do is watch for sales and combine that with coupons. i.e sunlight laundry detergent. Reg price. $7.99 Sale price $5.99 - $2.00 coupon that comes in the sunlight booklit (look for a bottle that has the coupon booklet attched) and viola Sunlight Laundry detergent for $3.99.

I only buy non-name when cheaper than on sale plus coupon (which is rarely). Usually only find that on staples like flour, sugar, canned milk etc. Loss leaders tend to always be name brand.

Welcome to the site! From one newbie to another, it can be hard at times, but once you get the correct coupons, you can save a lot of money. For example:
Herbal Essences Hydralicious BOGO
$5.94- $2.97= $2.97
Herbal Essences $1 off
$2.97-$1= $1.97.
There you have it, two bottles of Herbal Essences shampoo for $1.97. Welcome to the world of coupons!

You'll be a pro in no time. Look for sales to match with the coupons you have.

I find that the no-name is often more that name brand. And often it is cheaper to buy 2 smaller packages, that you can use 2 coupons on,than one huge one that you can only we one on.
