I just got home from a small grocery shop at Save On Foods, and I was going to take advantage of there 25% off Glade Candles. I had a $4 coupon (printable) and the product was priced at $4.25 (this was the price after the discount) anyway Cashier tells me that they don't take printables, it's a new policy. So I didn't take the item. I have emailed the company, but I was wondering if anyone out there has any other information/insight. I am aware that some stores don't like to them, but this was the first time I had come across it at Save On Foods.....
12/01/09 ****UPDATE****
Got a call from SOF, in response to an email I sent AND.....da, da, da....SOF policy is to take ALL coupons, they are re-emailing all managers to remind them of this practice. I had specifically sent them the link to the SCJohnson printables, and the lady told me that as long as it has a Canadian mailing address they are to accept them. Point blank CS told me that her manager said "I am right" I like being rightThis thread is currently associated with: Save on FoodsLast edited by Eeyah; Tue, Dec 1st, 2009 at 04:03 PM. Reason: Update

Never been able to use mine in Edmonton. Was told "no printables" over a year ago.

I have been told it's a store policy of no printables at one SOF and was also given a lecture on how most of them are fraudulent, etc, etc . But I have been able to use printables at other SOFs, so who knows what their official policy is.

I have used printables at SOF without any trouble. I haven't used very many, though. I will try one tomorrow if I get a chance (15%-off Tuesday in Alberta) and see what happens.

I don't see why you're surprised stores won't take printables, there too much room for fraud.
