Well, something's blowing in - it rained and snowed last evening.
This morning, very high gusty winds; it's -33 windchill, -18 temp.

Going to get colder all day into a frigid night.

the computer weather chart says daytime today will be -14 with snow.......I almost feel bad whining that it is cold compared to what Sask, gets. Another inside day.

Strong north winds 60 gusting 80 km/h today giving blizzard conditions over Southern and Western Red River Valley.

A strong Arctic cold front is pushing across Southern Manitoba this morning. This front will usher in strong northerly winds gusting to 70 or 80 km/h producing extensive poor visibilities in blowing snow today over open areas. The worst conditions are expected over the Southern and Western Red River Valley where near zero visibilities will occur as north winds gust to 80 km/h at times. Highway travel will become difficult today due to blowing and drifting snow across the warning area. Travellers should be prepared for poor driving conditions and possible road closures.

Conditions will start to improve later today into this evening as the winds gradually decrease. However colder air will be flooding in with temperatures near minus 30 overnight and wind chill values near minus 40. Bitterly cold weather is expected to start the work week with temperatures well below normal.

soup mix...winds are howling 65 km/hr with 114km/hr gust..snowing this morning, now ice pellets, suppose to be rain this afternoon...currently 0 deg, suppose to be +5 feels like -2 this afternoon and then -10 feels like -21 tonight..I was just outside and ice pellets hitting the face at 100 km/hr is not fun! ouch..lol..

Oy, so nasty! Minus 40 windchill; temp is -31. Only going up a few degrees today.

Snow, freezing rain...I'm freezing too..lol..45km/hr winds with 96km gust -7 feels like -15. The wood stove is just chugging today!
